Isang konsyerto ang idinaos sa Malacañang para sa mga tauhan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at kanilang pamilya noong Sabado ng gabi.
“President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Saturday night hosted a concert for the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and their families,” ayon sa Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
Layon ng Konsyerto sa Palasyo: Awit ng Magiting na kilalanin ang mga sakripisyo ng mga miyembro ng AFP para mapanatili ang “sovereignty, peace at security” ng bansa.
Tampok sa naturang konsyerto ang Samiweng Singers mula sa Ilocos Norte; Musical Director Jeddi Cris Celeste mula sa Iloilo City; at Harpists Benedicto Costaños Sr. at Benedicto Costaños Jr. mula sa Cebu.
Ang mga AFP personnel ay hinandugan din ng mga performances ni Poppert Bernadas mula sa Davao; Princess Vire mula sa Quezon City; Limuel Llanes mula sa Quezon Province; Rappers Marco Paolo Revidiso mula sa Parañaque City; A.K. Fella, Glnn, at MC Julyo mula sa Cavite; at Spoken Word Artist Kenli Marc Sibayan mula sa Ilocos Norte.
Kasama ni Pangulong Marcos sina First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, Vice President Sara Duterte, at dating Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Dumalo rin sa konsyerto ang mga miyembro ng Gabinete, Senators Cynthia Villar, Jinggoy Estrada at Francis Tolentino.
