BUCOR AT DLSZ PUMASOK SA KASUNDUAN PARA SA PDL REHAB, REFORMATION

PUMASOK sa isang kasunduan ang Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) at De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) para sa reformation at rehabilitation ng Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

Pinirmahan nina BuCor Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. at DLSZ Senior Vice Rafael Javier Reloza ang memorandum of agreement sa New Bilibid Prison Compound sa Muntinlupa City.

Sa ilalim ng MOA, ang mga PDLs ay makakatanggap ng social at civic services sa pamamagitan ng social interactions, seminar, workshops at training mula sa DLZS faculty members, staff at mga estudyante.

“This program will go a long way because it will inculcate values in life that it doesn’t pay to commit a crime and involves spiritual values needed by our PDLs being battered by angels and demons while inside our corrections facilities,” ayon kay Catapang.

Dagdag pa niya, na umaasa ang BuCor sa isang mas mabunga at matibay na partnership sa hinaharap kasama ang DLSZ.

Sinabi naman ni Reloza, na nakatuon ang DLSZ para itaguyod ang buhay ng mga bata, kabataan, pamilya at lalo na ng mga nangangailangan tulad ng PDLs.

“The DLSZ Social Action Office has been engaged in a volunteer service program which seeks to assist communities and other institutions towards social development as an embodiment of the mission of their founder, St. John Baptist de La Salle,” dagdag ni Reloza.
