IATF bigo sa pagtugon sa COVID-19 pandemic – Drilon

NANINIWALA si Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon na nagbigo ang coronavirus disease (COVID-19) task force ng pamahalaan para tugunan ang krisis sa kalusugan na nakaaapekto ngayon sa bansa.

“Yes. We call a spade a spade,” ayon kay Drilon sa isang panayam sa ABS-CBN News Channel nang tanungin kung sa tingin niya ay nabigo ang Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infections Disease (IATF) sa pagresponde sa pandemic.

“Look at where we are today. 70,000 cases, increasing every day. The prediction is that by the end of the month it will be over 80,000,” dagdag pa niya.

Sinabi rin niya na nawalan na ng krebelidad si Health Sectrary Francisco Duque III upang pangunahan ang mga tao at impluwensiyahan ang desisyon ng pamahalaan kaugnay sa pagtugon sa coronavirus pandemic.

“The health sector in the IATF ( Inter-Agency Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases), let’s call a spade a spade, Secretary Duque today lacks credibility to be able to command people to do things,” saad niya.

“He cannot influence decisions,” dagdag pa niya.
