PHL VOLLEY MEN AND WOMEN’S, POPODIUM SA CAMBODIA

BINABANDERAHAN nina Alyssa Valdez at Vince Raphael Mangulabnan  ang  national women’s and men’s teams na sasabak  sa Cambodia 32nd Southeast Asian Games ayon sa opisyal na anunsiyo  ng  Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF)kamakalawa.

Magkasangga naman sina Sisi Rondina at Jovelyn Gonzaga, gold medalists noong nakaraang  Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Futures sa Subic noong Disyembre para sa  women’s beach volleyball squad na kinabibilangan din nina Bernadeth Pons at Floremel Rodriguez.

“These teams are composed of perhaps the most formidable rosters to date with each and everyone of these athletes dedicated and determined to rise to the challenge in Cambodia,”wika ni  PNVF president Ramon “Tats” Suzara .

“With the skills given and dedication to flag and country considered, our coaches put premium on chemistry, on how these players would blend based on the competitions and challenges of the SEA Games,” aniya pa.

Makasama Valdez sa women’s team sina  Creamline teammates Julia Melissa Morado-De Guzman, Kyla Llana Atienza, Celine Elaiza Domingo, Jessica Margarett Galanza, Diana Mae Carlos and Michele Theresa Gumabao.

Kasama rin sa team sa timon ni  coach Jorge Edson Souza De Brito ng Brazil sina Cignal’s Maria Angelica Cayuna at Glaudine Troncoso, PLDT’s Kathleen Faith Arado at Dell Palomata , Choco Mucho’s Cherry Rose Nunag at Katrina Mae Tolentino at si Chery Tiggo’s Mylene Paat.

Kay Mangulabnan ang  ka-AMC-Cotabato na sina Joshua Umandal, Lloyd Josafat, Kim Harold Dayandante, Vince Patrick Lorenzo at Jayvee Sumagaysay.

Also in the squad are National University-Archipelago Builders’s Rwenzmel Taguibolos at Leo Ordiales, Cignal’s, Manuel Sumanguid III, Iloilo’s Jade Alex Disquitado at University of Santo Tomas’ Jay Rack Dela Noche.

Filipino-Americans Steven Charles Rotter, Cyrus Justin De Guzman at Michael Raymund Vicente  sa kumpas ng isa pang  Brazilian na si Sergio Valadares Veloso.

Alnakran Abdilla, Jaron Requinton, Jude Garcia at James Buytrago ang bubuo ng men’s team ing  beach volleyball squads sa giya ni coach Joao Luciano Simao .

Ang volleyball competitions sa  Cambodia ay hahataw na dalawang araw bago ang  opening ceremony sa  Mayo 3 sa Morodok Techo Elephant Hall habang ang  beach volleyball ay papalo sa Mayo 11 sa  Otres Beach sa Preah Sihanouk (Sihanoukville) Province kung saan ang finals ay hahataw sa May 16.
