Nasa 588 na pamilya na benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program o 4Ps ng DSWD ang magsisipagtapos ngayong araw sa Cuneta Astrodome sa Pasay City.
Nakatanggap ng sertipiko ng pagkilala ang bawat pamilyang inalis sa 4Ps matapos silang matukoy ng DSWD-Listahanan bilang mga “non-poor” o mga natulungan na ng programa na makatawid mula sa kahirapan.
Ayon kay 4Ps National Program Manager Gemma Gabuya, inaasahan na 400,000 benepisyaryo na malapit na ring magtapos.
“A family-beneficiary will be considered as a self-sufficient household if it has enough income at the time of graduation; is able to cope with their daily needs; and has achieved the first two levels of Social Worker Development Indicators (SWDI), which are Survival and Subsistence Levels, respectively,” ayon sa DSWD.
“The graduates will also be monitored by their respective local government units for possible provision of other appropriate assistance to enable them to sustain or further improve their economic status,” dagdag pa nito.
Ang 4Ps ay isang programang itinataguyod ng DSWD na nagbibigay ng conditional cash grants sa mga mahihirap na pamilya upang mapaunlad ang kalusugan, nutrisyon at edukasyon ng mga batang may edad 0-14.
Ang bawat household beneficiary ay makakatanggap ng mga cash grant para sa maximum na limang taon.
