Nasa 13 players at 2 coaches ang binaklas sa liga. Ito ay ang Siquijor Mystics dahil sa paglalaglag ng laro kontra Heroes.
Habang 6 na players at isang head coach ang sinuspende. Pinagmulta rin ng P220,000 ang Lapu-Lapu City.
Nagpadala rin ng memo si League Chief Operating Officer Rocky Chan sa ilang teams ng Visayas league.
Gayundin sa upcoming teams ng Mindanao tournament. Kung saan, ipapataw ang automatic banishment at P1,000,000 multa sa team na mapapatunayang match-fixers.
“We hold ourselves and each of our players to a high standard, thus we will not tolerate these actions and we will enforce it by releasing a memorandum to all teams that we will be fining teams who do the same action in the future – a fine of P1,000,000 along with the expulsion from the league,” aniya.
Humingi rin ng paumanhin si Chan para sa liga kaugnay sa disgraceful acts na ginawa ng Mystics at Heroes.
“We would also like to apologize to all our fans, sponsors, and to all the entire basketball community for this unfortunate incident. The goal of the Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup is to serve as inspiration for the youth in our region to play the game that we love the most.”
