Sinimulan na ng Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) ang pagkilatis sa mga players na iimbitahan nila sa national team. Sila ang mag-aasembol sa pool ng men’s and women’s indoor at beach national teams.
Kaugnay dito, nagtakda na ng tryouts ang organisasyon sa April 28 para sa women’s. At April 29 naman sa para sa men’s pool. Gayunman, nananatiling naka-pending sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
“[President] Tats (Suzara) and Dr. (Raul) Canlas went to Subic today and coming back tomorrow to talk with the Subic Bay Management Authority with regards to the health protocols for the tryouts,” ani national team commission head Tony Boy Liao.
Aniya, ang tryouts naman sa indoor volleyball ay idaraos sa Subic Bay Gymnasium. Habang ang beach volleyball naman ay sa sandcourt ng Subic Tennis Court.
Ang coaches ng national teams ay sina Odjie Mamon (indoor women’s). Dante Alinsunurin (indoor’s men), R Rhovyl Verayo (beach men’s) at Paul John Doloiras (beach women’s).
Ang national teams ay naghahanda na para sa 31st Southeast Asian Games at Asian Volleyball Confederation tournaments.
