Aminado ang Commission on Elections na makaaapekto sa paghahanda sa 2025 polls ang pagpapaliban ng barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) sa Disyembre 5.
“Definitely, the postponement, coupled with a re-setting or re-scheduling of any priorly-scheduled (by law) electoral exercise has a potential to impact preparations and activities of succeeding elections,” ayon kay Comelec spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco. “This impact may be more readily apparent on the early planning and preparations which the Commission intends to undertake for the conduct of the May 12, 2025 National and Local Elections,” dagdag pa ng abogado.
Gayunpaman, sinabi ni Laudiangco na aayusin ng Comelec ang mga paghahanda nang naaayon upang matiyak na “lahat ng pagsasanay sa eleksyon ay isasagawa nang may kredibilidad, kaayusan, kawastuhan at integridad.”
“The poll body will be addressing all areas for improvement, ensuring a duplication of the speed and efficiency of elections if not improving it, as well as providing a better voting experience for the Filipinos,” dagdag pa ng tagapagsalita.
