2nd District ng Rizal, hahatiin sa tatlo

Pirmado na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Republic Act 11533 o batas na maghahati sa second legislative district ng Rizal province sa tatlong bagong distrito.

Ang mga distrito ay binubuo ng mga sumusunod na munisipalidad:

2nd District:
– Cardona
– Baras
– Tanay
– Morong
– Jala-jala
– Pililia
– Teresa

3rd District:
– San Mateo

4th District:
– Rodriguez

“The second legislative district of the Province of Rizal is hereby reapportioned into three (3) legislative districts, to take effect in the 2022 national and local elections,” saad pa rito.

Ilalabas naman ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang implementing rules and regulations 30 araw matapos na maging epektibo ang nasabing batas.
