Libreng swab tests para sa BI employees

INANUNSYO ni Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Jaime Morente na maglalaan sila ng libreng COVID-19 RT PCR tests para sa mga empleyado na nakararanas ng sintomas.

“Being frontliners, BI personnel are one of the most at risk as we are in close contact with numerous people every day in the performance of our duties,” ani Morente.  “This effort is to ensure the health and safety of everyone,” dadag niya.

Ibinahagi ni BI Deputy Commissioner Aldwin Alegre, na siyang chair ng BI COVID Task Force, isasagawa ang naturang swab testing sa tulong ng partner agencies nito.

“We have received allocation for swab kits from the Philippine Coast Guard and the Local Government Unit of Manila,” said Alegre.  “We are very thankful for their support, and this will go a long way in our fight against Covid,” dagdag niya.

Ayon sa BI, 5 empleyado ang sasalang sa nasabing pagsusuri. Prayoridad dito ang mga symptomatic employees, gayundin ang mga nagkaroon close contact sa mga kumpirmadong COVID-19 patients.

Isasagawa ang pagsusuri sa BI employees sa Palacio de Maynila, Manila Health Office, at Palacio del Gobernador sa Intramuros.
