SIYAM na tauhan ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang na-promote bilang head agent.
Pinangasiwaan ni NBI Officer-in-Charge Director Eric B. Distor ang panunumpa ng mga na-promote noong Hunyo 17.
Kabilang sa mga na-promote ay sina Virgilio C. Reganit, agent-in-charge ng NBI Bayombong District Office (BAYDO); Normando B. Anire, chief of staff ng Office of the Deputy Director for Regional Operations Service (ODDROS); Gregorio S. Zuñiga Jr., acting chief ng Counter-Terrorism Division (CTD), Alexander G. Bautista, acting chief ng Anti-Graft Division (AGD); Christopher Lyndon N. Godinez, executive officer ng Office of the Director (OD), Atty. Giselle O. Garcia-Dumlao, chief-of-staff ng Office of the Assistant Director for Legal; Joey B. Moran, chief ng International Operations Division (IOD); Paul Alain M. Moises, executive officer for operations ng NBI Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR); at Heli B. Tiu, agent-in-charge ng NBI Laguna District Office (LAGDO).
Ayon sa NBI, ang siyam na head agents ay pinili para sa promosyon “batay sa mga pamantayan sa kwalipikasyon na itinakda ng Civil Service Commission (CSC).”
Sinabi rin nito na ang mga bagong head agent ay “sumilalim sa screening at evaluation process ng NBI-Human Resources Promotion and Selection Board (NBI-HRPSB).”
