No reason not to give 13th month pay

Micro and small businesses will be receiving a total of P50 billion through the forthcoming Bayanihan 2 national budget to help them recover from the current economic crisis caused by the COVID19 pandemic quarantine lockdowns since March.

So there is no reason for them to say that many of the micro and small businesses are unable to pay their employees’ 13th month pay.

Reduced work hours, work from home, work rotation, dagdag pamasahe (dahil walang shuttle ang kumpanya), expenses for COVID tests, etc..

Employers and business owners should not tinker with the 13th month pay of their employees.
