EJ OBIENA, HANDANG PROTEKTAHAN NG POC

Sa kabila ng kontrobersiyang kinasasangkutan ni EJ Obiena, handa ang Philippine Olympic Committee sa isang hakbang. Na protektahan ang kapakanan ni Tokyo Olympian pole vaulter.

Sinunod ni Obiena ang recomendasyon ng Ethics Committee sa pagdeklara kay PATAFA president Ella Juico bilang persona non grata.

“As far as the POC is concerned, the Ethics Committee acted within its inherent power which is to determine if the conduct of a member of POC, specifically the president of the PATAFA, is ethical, professional and acceptable to the organization which he belongs to,” ani POC president Bambol Tolentino.
