DELA ROSA IDINEPENSA ANG MGA OPISYAL NA DAWIT SA RED-TAGGING

IPINAGTANGGOL ni Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa ang ilang militar, pulis at mga opisyal ng pamahalaan na sangkot umano sa red-tagging.

Sa pagdinig sa Senado, sinabi ng naturang senador na nais lamang ng mga ito na protektahan ang taumbayan laban sa komunistang rebelde.

May kaugnayan ito sa alegasyon ng red-tagging na ipinupukol laban kina Armed Forces of the Philippines Sputhern Luzon Command chief Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr., Presidential Communications Usec. Lorraine Badoy, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) director general Alex Paul Monteagudo at iba pang opisyal ng militar.

“I believe that one of their goals is to protect our countrymen from being recruited by the terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF (Communist Party of the Philippines, New People’s Army, and the National Democratic Front),” saad ng dating hepe ng pulisya.

“This communist terrorist group continues to spread terror even during the time of pandemic. As such, they aim to do their best to prevent any form of recruitment (by) the communist terrorist group from occurring. As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure.”

“Mr. chairman, it’s about time we call a spade a spade. Tama na ang 50 taong panloloko, at panlilinlang na ginagawa nitong teroristang grupong CPP-NPA-NDF sa ating mga kababayan. Sila ang hadlang sa pag-unlad ng ating bansa, lalong lalo na sa kanayunan. This has to stop, Mr. chairman,” dagdag pa niya.

Pinayuhan din ng senador ang mga personalidad na inirereklamo ng red-tagging ang mga otoridad. Aniya mas dapat nilang ireklamo ang CPP founder na si Jose Maria Sison na siyang una raw na idinawit sila sa red-tagging.

Sa kabila nito ay umaasa pa rin si Dela Rosa na mareresolba ang naturang isyu sa pagitan ng mga law enforcers at left-leaning organization matapos ang imbestigayon ng Senado.
