TINANGGAP na ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang resignation ni Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy.
“DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy’s resignation was accepted by the President today,” saad ni Castro told Palace sa mga reporter.
“An OIC will fill the position until the President appoints a secretary,” dagdag niya.
Bago ito, nag-resign si Transporation Secretary Jaime Bautista nitong Pebrero dahil sa health reason. Pinalitan siya ng bagong transportation chief na si Vince Dizon.
Nagbitiw din si Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cesar Chavez noong nakaraang buwan at pinalitan ni ad interim PCO secretary Jay Ruiz.
Nang maitalaga na Secretary noong Hunyo 2022, sinabi ni Uy na inatasan siya ng noo’y inihalal na Pangulo Marcos na dalhin ang connectivity sa mga liblib na lugar at bigyan ang mga komunidad na ito ng access sa teknolohiya.
