2 TULAY SA ILOCOS SUR NAKUMPLETO NA

Inanunisyo ng Department of Public Works and Highways na isa na namang accomplishment ang kanilang nagawa nang matapos ng ahensiya ang dalawang farm-to-market bridges sa San Emilio, Ilocos Sur.

Nakumpleto ng ahensiya ang trabaho mula temporary na naging permanenteng dalawang tulay upang mapahusay at mapabuti ang integridad ng dalawang istraktura.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, ang pagpapalit sa Baang at Tiagan Bridge mula sa temporary bailey hanggang sa kongkretong istraktura ay upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at pagbutihin ang mobility ng hindi lamang residente kundi maging ng produktong agrikulutra sa mga bayan.

 “With these permanent and sturdier bridges, we can expect faster delivery of goods and services that will help boost the economy as well as provide more livelihood opportunities for the locals in the area,” pahayag ni Villar.

“Aside from their economic benefits, these bridges will also improve tourism in the province as it serves as a safer and faster access road leading to Skyline View Deck and Kakantuban Rock Formation in Quirino, Ilocos Sur,” dagdag pa niya.

Natapos ang 30-lineal meter ng Baang Bridge sa Barangay Cabaroan at 20-lineal meter ng Tiagan Bridge sa Barangay Tiagan, na parehong matatagpuan sa munisipalidad ng San Emilio, Ilocos Sur sa ilalim ng General Appropriations Act (GAA) na umabot sa halatang P27.3 milyon at P18 milyon.
