Unang molecular diagnostic laboratory sa Mandaluyong City, binuksan na

PORMAL nang binuksan ni Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos kasama si Center for Health Development Ma. Paz Corrales at iba pang opisyal ang Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory upang ma-test ang COVID-19 specimens at iba pang testing facilities na matatagpuan sa National Center for Mental Health. INILUNSAD ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Mandaluyong City ngayong Miyerkules ang kauna-unahang molecular diagnostic laboratory nito na matatagpuan sa National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) na tutulong upang ma-detect ang coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at iba pang sakit.

Dumalo sa nasabing paglulunsad si Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos, kasama si City Health Officer Dr. Alex Sta. Maria at iba pang opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Ayon kay Sta. Maria na ang naturang laboratory ay hindi lamang para sa COVID-19 testing kundi pati na rin sa testing at diagnostic ng iba pang sakit.

 “This is not just solely for COVID po. Magdadagdag lang ho tayo ng machine, magdadagdag lang ng kits (We’ll just add machines and kits). It can be used by the Mandaluyong City Medical Center and even NCMH for mga cardiac enzymes, lipid profile. So marami po syang purpose (So it has a lot of). This is a very useful laboratory,” saad ni Sta. Maria

Nitong Marso 16, nakapagtala ang siyudad ng 509 aktibong kaso ng COVID-19, 6,662 ang nakarekober at 213 ang namatay.

As of March 16, the city has recorded 509 active COVID-19 cases, 6,662 recoveries, and 213 deaths.
