SARA DUTERTE BALIK SA HUGPONG NG PAGBABAGO

Bumalik bilang pinuno ng Hugpong ng Pagbabago, ang regional party na itinatag niya mismo, si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte nitong Biyernes.

Muli siyang sumali sa Hugpong ilang araw matapos siyang umalis sa organisasyon at nanumpa sa Lakas-CMD, isang national political party.

“I am happy to be home and back into the fold of our beloved Hugpong ng Pagbabago as its chairperson. The HNP chairmanship I now hold concurrently with the chairmanship of Lakas-CMD with the permission of Lakas,” pahayag ni Mayor Sara.

“I call on my HNP colleagues to forge on and build the strongest region we can ever be, in devoted service to the Filipino people,” dagdag pa niya.

Ayon kay HNP secretary general Anthony Del Rosario, nanumpa si Mayor Sara nitong Biyernes.

“Mayor Sara’s re-appointment as our chairperson became possible as both parties’ constitution and by-Laws do not prohibit membership and appointment as officer, since HNP is a regional political party,” giit ni Del Rosario.

Dagdag pa niya, mas mapapatibay ng papel ni Mayor Sara bilang kasalukuyang chairperson ng HNP at Lakas-CMD ang alyansa sa pagitan ng dalawang partido, na magsusulong ng people-centered development sa Davao region maging sa buong bansa.

“On behalf of the officers and members of HNP throughout Davao region, we welcome back our beloved Mayor Sara. Padayon ta sa paglupad!” aniya. Noong Nobyembre 11, sumali si Mayor Sara sa Lakas-CMD matapos bumaba sa pwesto sa Hugpong.
