Kaugnay sa isasagawang election ng volleyball, hindi sasali ang Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF). Ang halalan ay pangangasiwaan ng Philippine Olympic Committee.
Ito ay idaraos sa Enero 25 sa East Seafoods restaurant sa Parañaque City.
Batay sa liham ni PVF President Edgardo ‘Tito Boy’ Cantada, hindi nila tanggap ang inilatag na resolution ng Olympic body. Hindi aniya sila sangayon sa layunin na pagkaisahin ang stakeholders sa Philippine volleyball.
Idinulog ni Cantanda ang saloobin sa liham nito kay POC President Rep. Bambol Tolentino.

“To finally see an end to the long-standing problem in Philippine volleyball. We attended to finally see a fair resolution to the crisis that continues to divide and cripple Philippine volleyball, ani Cantada.
“But the conditions and parameters you set for the immediate resolution of the problem are unacceptable,” aniya.
