NCR MAYORS KASADO SA PINAIKLING CURFEW

SANG-AYON ang Metro Manila mayors na ipatupad ang “flexible modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ Flex) pagkataps ng April 30 at i-adjust ang curfew hours upang makahinga ang mga negosyo sa gitna ng coronavirus-disease (COVID-19) situation ng bansa.

Sa ilalim ng “MECQ Flex,” paiiksin ang oras ng curfew mula alas-10:00 ng gabi hanggang alas-4:00 ng madaling araw, ayon kay Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chair Benhur Abalos.

“If you go to the mall, sarado ka na siguro around 6 o 7 [p.m.]. At least with 10 p.m., ang operating hours nila maski hanggang 8-9,” aniya.

“It will give a breathing spell sa mga negosyo,” wika niya.

“Under the “MECQ Flex,” local governments would find a “middle ground” to ” have the same ECQ but [with] more businesses and more activities,” saad pa niya. “You still maintain border control. You maintain the mobility of the people, Kasi if it’s automatically GCQ, labas pasok na agad e,” he said, referring to the travel of people in and out of the capital region,” dagdag pa nito.

Hinihintay aniya ng Metro Manila mayors ang listahan ng Department of Trade and Industry ng mga negosyo at mga aktibidad na kanilang papayagan sa ilalim ng new quarantine policy.

Noong nakaraang buwan, muling ipinatupad ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na i-lockdown ang capital region at kalapit nitong lalawigan dahil sa paglobo ng COVID-19 cases.
