Sinabi ni NBA Commissioner Adam Silver ang plano ng liga sa 2021-2022 NBA season. Aniya, balak nilang ibalik sa normal season ang liga simula sa October.
Ang off-season naman ay iikilian lamang nila para makahabol sa iskedyul ng laro.
“Our plan as of now, give or take a week, is to start mid-to-late October of this year,” ani Silver said sa ESPN’s “Get Up.”
Maaki ang naging epekto ng bilang ng laro sa season dahil sa pandemic. Lalo na nang nangyari sa 2019-2020 season.
Kung kaya, binawasan nila ng 10 games ang regular na 82 games sa 72.
“We’re going to have to do a bit of a shorter offseason to get back on schedule,” aniya Silver.
“We looked at other lengths of the regular season. We will continue to do so. At least based on the evidence from this season, I don’t that’s a strong argument to go to fewer regular-season games,” dagdag pa nito.
