UPANG makapagbigay ng mas madali at mas mabilis na paraan sa pagkuha ng mga dokumento sa construction at occupancy, naglunsad ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Navotas ng Construction One-Stop Shop (COSS).
Pinangunahan ni Mayor Toby Tiangco at Cong. John Rey Tiangco ang isinagawang blessing at inagurasyon ng pasilidad, kasama ang mga miyembro ng city council at department of heads.
Ang pasilidad ay naglalayong i-streamline ang mga proseso at bawasan ang oras na kinakailangan para sa aplikasyon at pagpapalabas ng mga permit sa gusali at certificates of occupancy.
“We intend to provide our constituents with prompt and efficient service. With the establishment of the Construction One-Stop Shop, Navoteños need not go from one office to another to process their building permits and other construction documents,” ani Mayor Tiangco.
“It will save our people lots of time and effort because the COSS can facilitate application, evaluation, and release of permits and certificates,” dagdag niya.
Nauna rito, para ihanda ang mga tauhan na mamamahala sa COSS, ang mga kinatawan mula sa mga tanggapan ng City Assessor, City Treasurer, City Planning and Development, BFP–Navotas, at ang 18 barangay ay nagsanay sa Operations of Building Permits and Certificates of Occupancy Systems sa ilalim ni Engr. Joselito Guevarra, Pambansang Pangulo ng Philippine Association of Building Officials.
