MGA GRUPO NG OFW BINIGYAN NG KREDITO NI DELA ROSA (Tumulong sa pagbuo ng dep’t of overseas Filipino measures)

Nagpapasalamat si Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa sa mga grupo ng Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) para sa kanilang kontribusyon sa panukalang pagtatag ng Department of Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos (DMWOF)

Sa kanyang co-sponsorship seppach para sa Senate Bill No. 2234 (SBN 2234), na naglalayon na likhain ang DMWOF, sinabi ni Dela Rosa na komunsulta siya sa iba’t ibang grupo ng OFW upang makahanap ng paraan para matugunan ang mga hinaing ng Pinoy workers na nasa abroad sa pamamagitan ng paglikha ng bagong departamento.

Kabilang sa mga grupo na nakausap ng senador ay ang Bantay at Kasangga ng OFW, Advocates & Keepers Organization of OFW, Batangueño ng Saudi Arabia, Horsegate Defender & Trumpet Blower, OFW Council of Leaders, United Filipino Global, OFW-Reintegration And Development, Incorporated at Vales Formation Council Philippines International, Incorporated.

Ang SBN 2234, sa ilalim ng Committee Report No. 264 na inisponsoran ni Senator Joel Villanueva noong Mayo 25, ay isang consolidated version ng Senate Bill No. 2010 ni Dela Rosa na naglalayong lumikha ng Department of Overseas Filipinos.

“It has always been one of my advocacies to help craft the most comprehensive and extensive policies and programs that will protect the rights and promote the welfare of our kababayans abroad,” aniya.

“The creation of a single department (DMWOF) solely devoted to promoting the welfare and instituting a higher standard of safety of all overseas Filipinos will indeed harmonize and integrate the functions of the various agencies and offices that will make the delivery of services more accessible and available,” dagdag pa ni Dela Rosa.
