MATAGUMPAY NA URCC 83 ‘BLOODLINE’ SA DAPITAN CITY

DOMINADO ni two division champion Chris Valdez Hofmann( lightheavy at middleweight) ng Pilipinas ang mapanganib na dayuhang si Min Seok Kim ng South Korea  upang patunayan ang pagiging kampeon nito kahit sa  featherwight class siya nakipagbakbakan sa idinaos kamakailang Universal Reality Combat Championship  83 Global “Bloodline” fightnight na ginanap sa Zamboanga Del Norte Convention Center sa Dapitan City.

Si Hofmann, itinuturing bilang  Manny Pacquiao sa larangan ng  mixed martial arts ay ipinamalas ang kanyang bangis ng kamao at estilo na nagpabagsak sa Korean fighter tungo sa RSC( referee- stop- contest) sa di magkamayaw na tuwa ng  sumaksing  local MMA  enthusiasts at pati na mga turista.

“This belt is so special.My opponent is very tough but I came here well prepared and determined to show the MMA community that I’m still a force to reckon even after a long lull due to pandemic.This is for  our Kababayan especially Zamboanguenos,” sambit ni Hofmann kasabay ng kanyang pasasalamat kina  URCC chief Alvin Aguilar at Mayor Seth ‘Bullet’ Jalosjos  na  nagsanib – puwersa upang idaos ang makasaysayang kaganapan  sa Dapitan City – ang lugar kung saan namalagi ang ating pambansang bayaning si Dr.Jose Rizal( 4 na taong  ini- exile noong pananakop ng mga Kastila).

  Ang bakbakan ay pinatingkad din ng mga eksplosibong undercards handog sa mga entusyastikong dumagsa sa fight venue.

 “Before the non-title but blockbuster bout, Mayor Jalosjos treated our Team URCC by  touring and visiting  significant  locations related to Dr.Rizal’s exile during the Spanish colonial period.

   They explored the Rizal Shrine which features a museum filled with artifacts from Rizal’s time in Dapitan, and as well as the Casa Real, which was the former seat of government during the Spanish era.

As part of the heritage tour organized by the Dapitan City Government, our URCC team was also brought to Balay Hamoy, the residence of Jose Rizal’s closest friend.
