Kaya naman, naitala ng Los Angeles ang 2-0 lead sa best-of-seven series. Ito rin ang unang pagkakataon na naka abanse ng 2-0 lead si LeBron James sa kanyang 10th finals appearance.
Nanguna sa panalo ng Lakers si James na nagsalpak ng 33 points, 8 boards at 9 assists. Nag-ambag naman si Anthony Davis ng 32 points at 14 boards.
