AFAD arms show, saludo si Senator Bato

PINAPURIHAN ni Senator Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa kamakalawa ang  Association of Firearms and Ammunitions Dealers of the Philippines, Inc. (AFAD) sa patuloy nitong  pagtuturo sa mga  Filipino kung paano ang maging  responsableng ‘gun-ownership’ partikular sa pagdaraos nito ng  taunang arms show.

“I’m grateful to AFAD for organizing these one-of-a-kind arms show. AFAD is trustworthy and distinguished organization. As chairman of the Senate Committee on Peace and Order, I supported whatever their plans and program para sa kapakanan ng industriya. Sabihan lang nila kung ano ang maganda para sa isdustriya, suportahan ko yan sa Senado para maging batas. Basta antayin ko yung mga plan nila,” pahayag ni Dela Rosa sa pagbubukas ng AFAD-organized 28th Defense and Sporting Arms Show sa Mega Trade Hall of SM Megamall sa Mandaluyong City.

Higit sa 40 booths ang matutunghayang mga bagong labas ng mga world-class Filipino made at imported guns, ammunitions at paraphernalia ang naka- display sa arms  show habang ang AFAD sa kolaborasyon nito sa Philippine National Police (PNP) at ibang government agencies na konsrrnado ay nagko- conduct ng   educational seminars on responsible gun-ownership at mayroong  help desk para sa renewal ng lisensiya.

Sinabi pa ni Dela Rosa na nakikinita niya ang pagtaas ng bilang ng mga gun-owners at optimistiko pa siyang dodoble ang bilang  ng  Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) sa naamyendahang mga  provision sa  Republic Act. No.11766 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act 203) kapag epektibo na.

“Makikita mo sa shooting rage, babae, lalaki may edad na. nageensayo sa pag-baril. Expected natin dodoble ito lalo na at official na ang IRR sa  amended RA 11766 na author ako at pinirmahan ni Presidente Duterte noon . Malaking tulong ito sa industirya ng paggawa ng baril,” ani pa Dela Rosa.

“The new law statesThe renewal date for both licenses to possess and registration of firearms shall be reckoned from the birthdate of the licensee unless sooner revoked or suspended.

The application for the renewal of the license or registration may be submitted to the Firearms and Explosives Office of the Philippine National Police (PNP) within six months before the expiration date of the license or registration of the firearm.”

 Nagpahayag naman si AFAD president Hagen Topacio ng pasasalamat kav Sen.Dela Rosa  na matagal nang tagasuporta ng   programa ng AFAD .

“His presence has always created an impact to audiences, gun-owners and afficionados.

 Blockbuster ang show lalo na pag alam nilang darating si Senator Bato Dela Rosa. The AFAD membership is always looking for programs and activities that will benefits the industry in general,” ani pa Topacio, silver medalist noong  2021 Southeast Asian Games clay shooting.  Ang naturang show ay pedido na sa November 28.
