CALOOCAN IBINASURA LAHAT NG KASO VS PISTON 6

IBINASURA ng Caloocan court ang mga kaso laban sa PISTON 6 na iniaresto noong 2020 matapos magprotesta laban sa pagbabawal sa mga jeep na bumiyahe sa kanilang mga ruta sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Ayon sa inihain na kautusan nitong Biyernes, Abril 19, napag-alaman ng korte na hindi sapat ang ebidensya laban kina Severino Ramos, Wilson Ramilla, Ramon Paloma, Ruben Baylon, Elmer Cordero, at Arsenio Ymas.

Sinabi pa ng kautusan na walang paglabag sa mga protocol ng Quarantine dahil ipinatupad na ang Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) mula nang alisin ang Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) noong Mayo 16, 2020, ilang linggo bago ang pag-aresto noong Hunyo 2, 2020.

“In view of the absence of the essential element of ‘existence of lawful order’ given by the responding policemen to the rallyist/accused, the prosecution’s evidence is insufficient to prove the guilt of the accused on the crime of disobedience beyond reasonable doubt,” saad sa court order.
