Villar tumanggap ng donasyon mula sa Fujian Youth Group

NAKIPAGPULONG ang Philippine Fujian General Youth Association, Inc. kay Senator Cynthia Villar kung saan naghandog sila ng protective materials at food supply bilang suporta ng mga ito sa relief operation ng senadora sa panahon COVID-19 pandemic.

Sa pangunguna ng kanilang pangulo na si James Go, nagbigay ang grupo ng 600 cup noodles, 21,000 face masks, dalawang gallon ng alcohol, dalawang gallon ng disinfectant at electric sprayer.

Ayon kay Villar, namuno sa pagsisikap ng Villar Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance (Villar SIPAG) para tulungang mabawasan ang paghihirap ng mga naapektuhan ng pandemya, ang donasyon ng grupo ay magiging bahagi ng kanilang relief operation sa Cebu.

“In these uncertain times, we are reminded how interconnected we all are through the outpouring of support from individuals and groups of people who stepped up and helped us meet the challenges of this unprecedented health crisis,” sabi ni Villar.

“I thank the group for their generosity and appreciate their efforts to contribute to our relief operations. Their donation will go a long way in helping stop the further spread of the virus in communities,” dagdag pa nito.

Dumalo din sa pagpupulong na ginanap sa Courtyard ng Villar SIPAG Complex sa Las Pinas ang iba pang mga opisyal ng Philippine Fujian General Youth Association, Inc., na sina, Lucio Ang, executive vice president; Chen Wen Xiong, vice president; Jeff Bernal, secretary-general; at Vincent Tan at Willy Wang, executive directors.
