WALANG DAGDAG-SINGIL SA TUBIG SA 2021 – MAYNILAD

INANUNSYO ng Maynilad Water Services ngayong Martes na ipagpapaliban nito ang dagdag-singil sa tubig sa susunod na taon habang patuloy nahaharap ang mga consumer nito sa pandemic.

Ang naturang rate increase ay batay sa rebasing adjustment na nauna nang inaprubahan noong 2018 at ang mandated CPI inflation increase para sa taong 2021.

“Maynilad is forgoing the rate increases it is qualified to implement in the coming year—specifically the already-approved rebasing adjustment for 2021, as well as the mandated CPI inflation increase for the year,” saad nito sa isang pahayag. “Meanwhile, the CPI adjustment for 2021 is 2.7 percent of the Basic Charge, so that would have been an additional P1.03 per cu.m. increase in 2021,”  dagdag nito.

Noong Oktubre, ipinatupad ng Maynilad at Manila Water ang pagbawas sa singil sa tubig sanhi ng pagbaba ng foreign currency diffential adjustment (FCDA).

Ang Maynilad ay nagsisilbi sa West Zone ng Metro Manila concession area na sumasaklaw sa Maynila, ilang mga lugar sa Quezon City, Makati City, Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas at Malabon gayundin sa ilang piling lugar sa Bacoor, Imus at mga bayan ng Kawit, Noveleta at Rosario sa Cavite.
