Silent no more.

Various volunteer organizations have finally came out as they join Ikaw Muna (IM) Pilipinas CARAGA Region in declaring support for the Isko Moreno Domagoso – Sara Duterte tandem for president and vice president, repsectively in the coming May national polls.

This developed as the IM Pilipinas, one of the largest volunteer networks of Isko Moreno Domagoso, launched “ISAng PILIPINAS” CARAGA to serve as the umbrella organization of groups from Mindanao supporting the presidential candidacy of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso and vice presidential candidate Sara Duterte, who is also a Mindanaoan.

“We came and we saw the overwhelming support of our fellow Mindanaoans for the Isko-Sara tandem. People from all walks of life including businessmen, sectoral groups, fraternity and brotherhood associations and our less privileged kababayans have joined us in this event of support for the tandem,” Alain Buque, IM Pilipinas CARAGA Regional Convenor said.

“Talagang hindi po mapipigilan ang suporta ng ating mga kasama para kay Isko-Sara, kung noon sila po ay tahimik lang na nagbibigay support ngayon ay lumabas na sila para ipahayag ito,” Buque added.

He noted the evident spirit of volunteerism in each of their events where supporters use their own resources to deliver victory for the Isko-Sara tandem.

Mr. Ernesto Palaran, president of the Butuan Basurero Association even expressed high hopes that their sector will finally be given ample attention and help under an Isko-Sara administration.

The activity was well-attended by various groups including Muslim community, vendors, Indigenous people, businessmen, Butuan Basurero Association, women, LGBTQ, youth, senior citizens, Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity, Zeta Phi Freternity, Alpha Kappa Rho and ANO Fraternity and Sorority.

Similar events were also held consecutively over the week in Cebu City, Zamboanga, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi (ZamBaSulTa) and Central Luzon over the week where ‘ISAng Pilipinas’ was launched signifying the ever growing number of volunteer organizations supporting and campaigning for the Isko-Sara tandem.

“ISAng Pilipinas” vowed to rally all well-meaning forces, from the Left of Center to the Right of Center of the political spectrum, under the banner of people-centered national development and in the spirit of respect, collaboration and dynamic initiatives, as a parallel campaign organization and movement.
