DASMARIÑAS, Cavite — Sumuko nitong Lunes, Setyembre 1, ang suspek sa pagpatay sa isang empleyado ng Meralco matapos ang insidente ng road rage sa lungsod na ito, ayon sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Ipinrisenta ng Cavite Provincial Police ang suspek, 44-anyos at residente ng Dasmariñas, sa isang press conference.
Ayon kay DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla, nakipag-ugnayan ang lokal na pamahalaan sa mga barangay opisyal upang matunton ang pinaghahanap na suspek.
“It was Mayor Advincula and Governor Remulla who pursued the case with the barangay authorities to locate the suspect. So today we turn over the suspect through the PNP and we consider this a crime solved situation,” ani Remulla.
Matatandaang noong Agosto 27, binaril at napatay ng suspek ang biktimang si Mayo Jonel Santos, 54, isang Meralco technician, sa Barangay Salawag, Dasmariñas City matapos umano silang magkasagutan sa kalsada.
