SARA, BBM TINAWAG NA ‘JUNIOR DICTATORS’ (‘Wag iboto – Akbayan)

Nanawagan ang Akbayan Partylist ngayong Lunes sa mga botante na huwag iboto sa 2022 elections sina Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte at dating Senador Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na binansagan nilang “junior dictators’.

Sa isang malikhaing aksyon sa Quezon City isang araw bago ang ika-49 na paggunita sa Martial Law, nagbitbit ang Akbayan ng strollers at mga manika na may mukha nina Sara at Bongbong upang ipakita kung papaano sinasalamin ng mga ito ang imahe ng kanilang mga umanong tiwali at despotikong ama.

“More Marcosian and Pharmally-like corruption and plunder can be expected from these junior dictators if they are elected in 2022. They are the continuation of their fathers’ organized crime. Their electoral ambitions seek to institutionalize the dark, corrupt and tyrannical legacies of their fathers and sabotage our efforts to exact full accountability from their families,” ayon kay Akbayan First Nominee Perci Cendaña.

 “Sara and Bongbong are unrepentant beneficiaries and defenders of their fathers’ tyrannical and corrupt rule. Sara never publicly opposed his father’s extrajudicial killings and multi-billion Phamally contracts. Meanwhile, Bongbong is an active defender of the Marcos dictatorship who had a direct hand in trying to withdraw $213M ill-gotten wealth from a Swiss bank account in 1986,” paliwanag pa nito.

“Truly, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Kung ano ang puno siya rin ang bunga. We call on the Filipino voters to reject these junior dictators in 2022. The country has no future in the corrupt Marcos dynasty and the Duterte Pharmally,” saad pa nito.
