“We expressed gratitude to the National Museum of the Philippines for recognizing the importance and contribution of the Quezon Memorial Shrine in our history and culture,” saad ng alkalde. “For sure, if president Quezon were still alive he would be very happy to see how the city has progressed and developed,” dagdag pa nito.

Isinagawa ang wreath-layin ceremony at unveiling ng culutural makrer noong Sabado na dinaluhan nina Jeremy Barns ng NMP; National Historical Commission of the Philippines Chairperson Emmanuel Calairo; Carminda Arevalo, NHCP Executive Director; Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino Chairman Arthur Casanova; National Commission for Culture and the Arts Executive Director Joseph Corpuz; at Sharlene Batin, Regional Director-National Capital Region ng Department of Tourism.

Ang Quezon Memorial Shrine ang ikalawang historical site na idineklara bilang cultural treasure sa Quezon City kasunod ng pagkilala sa Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, La Naval de Manila, sa Barangay Sto Domingo noong 2012.
