INATASAN ng Joint Task Force COVID Shield ang lahat ng police commander na mahigpit na bantayan ang social media para sa mga pasaway sa community quarantine protocols.
Kabilang sa kanilang tutukan ang inuman session at mass gathering na ipopost ng netizen sa social media na maituturing na ebidensiya.
“The social media are full of photos and evidence of hardheaded people deliberately violating the quarantine protocols. These can be used as pieces of evidence to warn, to fine and to summon the people concerned in coordination with the barangay officials concerned,” ayon kay Police Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, Commander of the JTF COVID Shield.
Saad pa ng nasabing opisyal na ang mahuhuling nag-iinuman ay mahaharap sa karagdagang kaso, lalo na kung umiiral ang liquor ban sa kanilang komunidad.
Umapela rin siya sa mga netizen na tulungan ang PNP para mahuli ang mga pasaway sa quarantine protocols, kahit ang mga ito pa ay pulis.
Una nang nangako si PNP Chief Lt. Gen. Camilo Cascolan na papatawan ng disciplinary action ang sinumang mahuhuling lumabag sa protocols.
“I will see to it that everybody who imposes or implements the law shall be disciplined and should also follow the law that they are implementing,” ayon sa hepe ng Pambansang Kapulisan.
