PH NO.1 SA DIGITAL ILLITERACY, NO. 2 SA ONLINE CHILD ABUSE – DICT

“It is an accurate report from the United Nations (UN), but let me qualify that the last time that they asked for that report was [in] 2019,” sagot ni DICT Undersecretary for Connectivity, Cybersecurity, and Upskilling Jeffrey Ian Dy.

“Many Filipinos know how to use mobile phones, know how to use TikTok or Facebook, but they cannot navigate an operating system,” wika ni Dy.

Sa naturang ding pagdinig, ibinunyag ng Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), attached agency ng DICT, na No. 2 ang Pilipinas sa online sexual abuse of children.
