Permanenteng residente, p’wedeng makapasok ng bansa simula Agosto 1

NILINAW ng Bureau of Immigration na tanging mga dayuhan na may permanent o immigrant visas lang ang pupuwedeng pumasok sa bansa simula Agosto 1.

“For the information of the public, the entry of foreign tourists, non-immigrant visa holders, and other categories of aliens are still prohibited. They will be turned back if they land in any of our ports of entry,” ayon kay BI Commissioner Jaime Morente.

Inilabas ng BI Chief ang naturang pahayag matapos ulanin ng tawag at katanungan ang mga immigration offices sa mga paliparan, gayundin ang iba pang field offices ng Bureau mula sa mga taong na nagkamali ng akala na bukas na para sa lahat ng dayuhan ang pinto ng bansa.

“The resolution of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) is clear – only foreigners with existing long-term visas will be allowed entry beginning August 1. So if you are not a permanent resident here, do not attempt to travel to the Philippines because you will be excluded and denied entry by our immigration officers,” saad ni Morente.

Umapela din siya sa publiko na tigilan na ang pagpapakalat ng fake news hinggil sa maaari nang magpunta ang mga dayuhan sa Pilipinas dahil maghahatid lamang ito ng kalituhan at lilikha ng kaguluhan sa mga paliparan.

Ayon kay BI Port Operations Division Acting Chief Grifton Medina, na mayroon lamang apat na katergorya ng visa ng mga dayuhan na papayagan na makapasok ng bansa sa susunod na buwan.

“these aliens must fall under the following categories: those who were issued immigrant visas under Section 13 of the Immigration act; those who acquired resident status under Republic Act 7919 or Alien Social Integration Act; those who availed of Executive Order 324 or Alien Legalization Program; and native-born foreign nationals,” paliwanag ni Medina.

Iginiit din ni Medina na ang lahat ng dayuhan na kasal sa mga Filipino  at kanilang mga dependenyente, gayundin ang mga foreign diplomat, ang maaring mapunta ng bansa batay din sa napagkasunduan ng IATF.

“We are therefore advising the different airlines to take note of these latest travel guidelines so that they can accordingly inform their foreign customers who may wish to book their flights to the Philippines,” ayon sa opisyal.
