OVP: SARA UMALIS NG PILIPINAS KASAMA ANG PAMILYA (Kasabay ng pananalasa ng Bagyong Carina)

Kinumpirma ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) nitong Huwebes na kasalukuyang nasa ibang bansa si Vice President Sara Duterte para sa personal trip kasama ang kanyang pamilya.

Inihayag ng OVP na “unfortunate” ang timing ng pag-alis ni Duterte kasabay ng pananlasa ni Bagyong Carina at ng pinalakas na Southwest Monsoon sa Luzon.

Subalit, binigyang-diin ng OVP na ang kanyang biyahe “received the necessary approvals, as evidenced by the travel authority issued by the Office of the President dated 09 July 2024.”

“The timing of the trip coinciding with Typhoon Carina is unfortunate. Nonetheless, the Disaster Operations Center of the OVP, institutionalized by the Vice President, is always ready to assist families affected by calamities,” giit ng OVP.
