MGA GURO NAKATANGGAP NG MAAGANG PAMASKO SA GOBYERNO

NAMAHAGI ang Department of Labor and Employment nitong Miyerkoles ng financial assistance ang ilan sa mga guro na benepisyaryo ng kanilang COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) sa Kartilya ng Katipunan malapit sa Manila City Hall.

Ayon kay Rolly Francia, DOLE Information and Publication Service Director, makatatanggap ang mga guro ng tig-P5,000.

“This is the first time that the education sector will receive assistance,” saad niya.

Sa tala ng DOLE, may 60,000 guro ang nakatakdang makinabang mula sa CAMP.

Sambit pa ni Francia na magmula kahapon ay nakapagbigay na sila ng mahigit sa P24 milyon sa 4,800 na titser sa buong bansa.

Saad pa niya na noong Nobyembre 13 ay sinimulan ang pamamahagi  ng tulong sa NCR para sa 3,000 benepisyaryo.

“Don’t worry if you didn’t receive yet…just keep sending your application for financial assistance. Don’t give up,”  ika ni Francia.

Present din sa naturang okasyon sina Senator Christoper Bong Go at Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.

Sa kanyang talumpati, ihinahayag ng senador na lumiham sa kanya ang presidente ng Federation of Association of Private Schools and Administration (FAPSA) upang ibatid sa kanya na maging ang mga guro ay apektado ng pandemya.

Ayon kay Go, hinimok niya si Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III na bigyang prayoridad ang mga guro kapag naaprubahan na ang Bayanihan 2.

“Sec. Bello agreed to give P5,000 for 60,000 teachers,” saad niya.

Umaasa ang labor department na ang financial assistance ay makatulong sa mga benepisyaryo.

“It is our prayer that the financial assistance provided to you by the government would help you and your families recover. It may not be enough considering the impact of COVID 19 outbreak and the recent typhoons but the department is doing its best to help the affected workers and establishments especially the educational institutions in this difficult and extraordinary time,” saad ni Sarah Mirasol, DOLE NCR regional director.
