CLARK FREEPORT— “Clark is the perfect choice for us,” ayon kay Philippine National Cycling coach Ednalyn Hualda sa 2^nd day ng Philcycling National Trials sa naturang Freeport.

Sa isang panayam, nabanggit ni Hualda, na siya ring Deputy Race Director ng Philcycling , ang pagiging angkop nitong Freeport bilang isang sports venue  lalo na sa mga siklista at mga nagbibisikleta.

“Clark is the perfect venue for this event. Kase sini-synchronize namin yung route when it comes to choosing our venue for the trials that we do. And also, why not Clark? As we know, Clark is the destination talaga when it comes to cycling,” saad niya.


Nabanggit din ni Hualda ang accessibility ng mga ruta rito, kaya mas pinili nila ang Freeport para sa kanilang mga kompetisyon.
 

“Clark is the most accessible sa lahat ng venues, that is why it became our number one choice when we were thinking about the venue that we can choose for our trials. The federation also agreed that Clark will be the perfect choice for us,” dagdag niya.


Pinuri rin ni Hualda ang suporta at efforts na ibinigay ng mga opisyal at tauhan ng Clark Development Corporation (CDC) upang maging posible ang event. Nabanggit din niya na malaki ring tulong  sa pag-oorganisa ng event  ang kanilang pakikipagkoordinasyon sa CDC-Tourism Promotions Divisions.

 “For us, we are very happy. Honestly, hindi naman kasi kame nahirapan na humingi ng permission kase nga with the office of the CDC, especially TPD, they are very supportive of our event. We are very thankful for supporting us for this event. With their support, we were able to make this happen,” dagdag niya.

Pinasalamatan din ni Hualda sina  CDC President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan, CDC Security Services Group Vice President Sheldon Jacaban, at kay CDC-TPD Manager Noemi Julian. Nabanggit niya na tiniyak ng mga ito ang kaligtasan at seguridad ng mga biker at delegado sa loob ng dalawang na cycling activity.

Saad ng cycling coach, na mas marami pa silang isasagawang cycling trials at kompetisyon sa Clark sa hinaharap.

Samantala, nagpahayag din ng pasasalamat si Philcycling Race Director Lorenzo “Jun” Lomibao sa CDC officials at personnel. “Without their support and assistance, this event will not be made possible,” dagdag niya.

Sumipa ang Philcycling National Trials noong Hulyo 10, 2021, kung saan tampok ang mga kategorya sa kompetisyon tulad ng Individual Time Trial for Men and Women, at Criterium for Men and Women. Para sa huli at ikalawang araw, Hulyo 11, 2021, highlight ng kompetisyon ng road race para sa men and women categories.
