GUINEA, KINANSELA ANG PARTISIPASYON SA OLYMPICS

Kinansela ng bansang Guinea ang kanilang participation sa Tokyo Olympics. Ang rason ay dahil sa pangamba sa Coronavirus.

Kung kaya, inanunsiyon ng west African nation sports minister ang pag-urong ng partisipasyon nila sa olympics.

“Due to the resurgence of COVID-19 variants, the government, concerned with preserving the health of Guinean athletes, has decided with regret to cancel Guinea’s participation in the Tokyo Olympics,” ani Minister of Sports, Sanoussy Bantama Sow.

Isa pang dahilan ay dahil sa gugulin sa pagpapadala ng mga atleta. Katunayan, nakansela ang pagtulak ng 5 athletes nito patungong Tokyo.

Sila ay sina Fatoumata Yarie Camara (freestyle wrestling), Mamadou Samba Bah (judo). Gayundin sina Fatoumata Lamarana Toure at Mamadou Tahirou Bah (swimming) and Aissata Deen Conte (athletics, women’s 100m).
