GREENZONE PARK PHASE 3 SA NAVOTAS, PINASINAYAAN

KASUNOD ng inagurasyon ng Navotas Greenzone Park Phase 3 na isa sa mga Adopt-a-Park projects ng Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), mas marami na ngayong bukas na espasyo ang magagamit na pasyalan at libangan ng mga pamilyang Navoteño.

Pinangunahan ni Mayor John Rey Tiangco at Congressman Toby Tiangco, kasama si Atty. Romando Artes, acting MMDA chairperson ang inagurasyon at pagbabasbas ng parke na matatagpuan R10, Brgy. North Bay Blvd. North.

“Despite the very limited land area in our city, we strive to provide Navoteños with parks and open spaces where they could safely relax and enjoy with their families.  We are fortunate to have partners, like MMDA, in making this possible,” ani Mayor Tiangco.

“MMDA has also pledged to develop the adjacent open spaces.  We hope to inaugurate these areas in the near future,” dagdag niya.

Pinaalalahanan naman ni Congressman Tiangco ang mga nasasakupan na gawin ang kanilang bahagi sa pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at pagpapanatili ng mga halamanan sa parke.

“We ask the cooperation of everyone in keeping our parks and other public venues clean. Most of the trees here were planted in the year 2000.  It just shows that if we take care of them, they will continue to flourish and even our children’s children will be able to enjoy them,” pahayag niya.

Dumalo rin sa seremonya ang mga miyembro ng Navotas City Council; barangay officials; Director Francisco Martinez ng MMDA Health, Public Safety and Environmental Protection Office; and Director Sharon M. Gentalian ng MMDA Public Affairs Staff-Public Information Office.

          Ang una at ikalwang phase ng Navotas Greenzone Park ay natapos noong 2021 at 2022, respectively.
