EXTRAJUDICIAL KILLINGS SA DRUG WAR, HINDI TOTOO ‘YAN – DUTERTE

Iginiit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na “walang katotohanan” na may extrajudicial killings sa giyera kontra droga ng kanyang pamahalaan.

Ayon kay Duterte, hindi siya nagbigay ng order patungkol sa ‘shooting spree’ laban sa mga nahuhuling drug addicts sa Pilipinas.

“Yung sinasabi nila na extrajudicial killing, hindi totoo yan. Why do we have to extra judicial kill a person?” saad ni Duterte sa isang talumpati sa New Clark City sa Tarlac kasabay ng pag-iinspeksyon sa National Academy of Sports.

“My order to the law enforcement agencies… is that, ‘Go out and destroy the apparatus of the drug syndicates, and if you have to kill because you are in danger of being killed, go ahead, unahan mo na’ dagdag niya.

Samantala, base sa datos ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), umabot na sa 6,241 ang mga napatay sa anti-illegal drugs operations simula July 1, 2016.

Kinastigo naman ni Duterte si retired Supreme Court Senior matapos nitong tawagin na “unconstitutional” ang kanyang kampanya kontra illegal na droga.

“Mayroong isang torpe na ex-justice, unconstitutional daw yung drug war. Adre, magkaiba ang libro natin. You must have the wrong theories about humanities and all, but yung mga ganun, subukan mo dito sa trabaho ko,” saad ni Duterte sa kanyang talumpati sa Tarlac.

Tinawag din ng punong ehekutibo, na matatapos na ang anim na taon na termino, na “bugok” si Carpio na isang scholar at valedictorian.

“Para sa akin bugok ka. You are a scholar, I know. You are from Davao. Bright ka, valedictorian ka, okay ‘yan. But, hindi ‘yan pwede… in reality, you have to come to terms with what is actually happening on the ground,” dagdag niya.
