We, parents, thought online class for our kids would protect them from the risk of exposure to the virus. At first, excited nga kami ni misis at ng aking anak to do it kasi nga nasa bahay lang at zero exposure ang aming estudyante sa virus habang patuloy ang pag-aaral.
But one month into the online class, I and other parents ( in the same and other school) noticed na loaded na loaded ang mga bata ng mga lessons & requirements that they have to meet by themselves at a certain period of time.
Like poor internet speed and quality, expensive laptop, tablet & mobile phones. Long exposure to computer glare.
There is a very strong need for school officials, teachers students and parents to meet and assess and analyze the online learning concept and address worrisome issues arising from this distance learning.
Yes, there are benefits and positive takeaways in online class but there must be some adjustments to be made because at the moment, in my opinion, the excessive volume of graded or non-graded requirements terrorizes our kids.
