Commonwealth light heavyweight title belt, napanatili ni Lyndon Arthur kontra Dec Spelman

Napanatili ni Lyndon Arthur ang tangang Commonwealth light heavyweight title belt nang daigin si Dec Spelman sa laban na idinaos sa BT Sport studio. Dahil sa panalo, malaki ang tsansa ni Arthur na makaharap si Anthony Yarde.

Kahit may hand injury ang undefeated Manchester ace na si Arthur (16-0), dinomina nito si Spelman. Kaya naman, nakuha nito ang pabor ng judge via unanimous decision, 116-113, 116-112 at 119-109.  

“It was hard, he said he would be tough and do the 12 and he did,” ani Arthur.  

“I hurt him a few times and hurt my right hand on his head so I just boxed the 12 rounds at a high pace.”

“I give myself a seven out of 10, I think I could have got him out of there but I didn’t want to tire myself out.”

“My message to Anthony Yarde is ‘let’s go, let’s get it on’”dagdag pa ng masayang 29-anyos na si Arthur.

Sa umpisa ng laban, nagkawala agad ng jabs si Arthur. Naging maingat din siya para di matamaan ng mga suntok ni Spelman. Dahil dito, unti-unting lumambot ang 28-anyos na si Spelman.

Sa ilang rounds ng impresibong jabs at mga suntok, nagkaroon ng cut sa mata si Spelman. Dumugo rin ang ilong nito sa third round. Napabagsak si Spelman sa final round ng uppercut ng kampeon.
