Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics… LABAN LANG LABADAN AT PISA!

Ang pambato ng Pilipinas na si Breanna Labadan na nananatili sa laban sa aksiyong ito ng 14th Asian Senior Rhythmic Gymnastics kahapon sa PSC Multi- Purpose Gym. (Menchie Salazar)

ANG pasiklab ng natutunang husay mula sa training sa Europe, lumikom si Breanna Labadan ng suma- total na  56.70 points matapos ang  hoop at ball events upang pumuwesto ng pang-pito pangkalahatan sa  individual all-around  qualifiers kahapon sa pagratsada  ng 14th Senior Rhythmic Gymnastics Asian Championships sa  Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Ang 16-anyos na si Labadan, bronze medalist noong 31st Vietnam  Southeast Asian Games,   umiskor  siya ng 28.50 at 28.20 sa hoops at ball, ayon sa pagkakasunod, habang nalalabi pa ang  clubs at  ribbon sa kumpetisyon na inorganisa ng   Gymnastics Association of the Philippines.

Ang cancer survivor at 2019 30th SEA Games gold medalist na si  Daniela dela Pisa,  na lumiban sa  hoops, ay pumuwesto pang-33  matapos umiskor ng  23.15 puntos sa  ball event ng torneong suportado ng  Philippine Sports Commission.

Sinabi naman ni competition manager Anna Carreon, na si  Dela Pisa ay eligible pang  sumabak sa  all-around finals dahil may laban pa siya sa clubs at ribbons na nakatakda ngayon.

“As long as she competes in three events in the qualifiers and finishes among the top 18, Daniela can still compete in the finals,” wika ni Carreon sa timpalak na may basbas ng  Asian Gymnastics Union at inayudahan ng   Taishan, United Harbor Pilots Ass’n Phils. Inc. Milo at Pocari Sweat.

Ang nag-iisang local entry sa senior meet na si  Trisha Mae Montifalcon, ay nagtala ng 20.15 puntos sa nag-iisa niyang  event na ‘the hoops  ay

rumanggong 29th sa naturang international  meet na inalalayan din ng  Sofitel Hotel at  Hotel 101.

Namamayagpag sa standing si   Uzbekistan ace Takhmina Ikromova na parehong  una sa hoops at ball sa identical scores na 33.70 points bawat isa para sa   total output na 67.40 points.

Humahabol si Elzhana Tanizyeva (65.10) ng Kazakhstan ha bang ang compatriot niyang si  Aibota Yertkayzy ang tumersera (62.50) sa kumpetisyong suportado rin ng   PLDT/Smart, Pastorelli, TODA, Lifeline at ng  Mercato Centrale Group.

Sa makulay na pambungad seremonya na binigyang ningning ng pagdalo ni  PSC chairman Richard Bachmann at  Asian Gymnastics Union president Ali Al-Hitmi ng  Qatar, GAP president Cynthia Carrion ang nag- welcome sa higit 200 atleta mula  20 bansa na nagpasiklaban sa apat na araw na  event.

“The competition is a qualifier for the next world championships set in August in Valencia, Spain, which means that the rhythmic gymnasts present today are the only the best of the countries they represent,”ani Carrion .”I will motivate all of them the best as they compete in the spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship and fair play.”
