Anti-Doping Education para sa SEAGames PH Team

IKINASA ng Philippine National Anti-Doping Organization (PHI-NADO) sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Philippine Olympic Committee-Athlete’s Commission kamakailan ang anti-doping awareness session via Zoom para sa mga atleta at opisyal partikular na sa mga miyembro ng National Team na nakatakdang lumahok sa 32nd Southeast Asian Games sa Cambodia.

Pinangunahan ni PHI-NADO Director Dr. Alejandro Pineda ang dalawang oras na sesyon kung saan tinalakay niya ang mga aksyon na isinakatuparan ng PHI-NADO sa mga nakaraang taon bilang pagtalima sa mga ipinapatupad na patakaran at regulasyon ng World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

“As part of WADA rules, we have to maintain a high-level education program and see to it that PHI-NADO will disseminate new information and activities regarding doping control and rules to all our athletes from elite down to the grassroots and developmental level,” pahayag ni Pineda, kinatawan din ng bansa sa Southeast Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organization (SEA-RADO).

“We’d like to thank the athlete’s commission for the opportunity to share updates about anti-doping education, doping control process and prohibited list, and remind all athletes of the necessary requirements for the games,” aniya.

Kasama rin sa sesyon at nagbigay ng mensahe si Philippine delegation Chief of Mission to Cambodia Sea Games Chito Loyzaga at POC Athletes Commission member Nikko Huelgas kung saan ang mga paksa sa Values Check at Doping Control Testing at Anti-Doping Rules and Regulations ay tinalakay nina Stephanie Pagarigan, pinuno ng PHI- NADO Anti-Doping Education at Nathan Vasquez, pinuno ng Anti-Doping Testing, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

“Enjoy representing your country,” diin ni Loyzaga, Pangulo rin Baseball Federation.

“Educate yourself, find time to read and update yourself on the latest information. Let us work together towards more fruitful and meaningful Philippine sports! Cheers and good luck Team Philippines!” ani Loyzaga.

Magpatuloy ang PHI-NADO education program sa isasagawang Anti-Doping E-Learning (ADEL) Workshop para sa Philippine Team International Level Athletes sa pamamagitan pa rin ng Zoom sa Abril 15 ganap na 10:00 ng umaga.

“We’re inviting all our national team players and athlete support personnel to this workshop where we will go through some of your questions and queries regarding the ADEL for International Level Athletes,” sambit ni Pineda.
