Balik-Pinas na mga OFW puwede sa BPO

INANUNSIYO ng Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company Alorica Inc. na maglalan sila ng trabaho para sa napauwing overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) partkular sa mga nawalan ng trabaho dahil sa coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

Ayon sa Alorica, bukas-palad nilang tatanggapin ang mga umuwing OFW bilang mga agent at non-agent sa BPO firm. 

“For agent positions, new hires may progress as subject matter experts or team leaders after six to 24 months of tenure, and potentially move up to operations manager after 48 to 72 months of tenure. Meanwhile, non-agent career paths in the company include roles in recruitment, administration, human resources, training, and information technology,” paliwanag ng kompanya.

Ayon kay Bong Borja, presidente ng Alorica for Asia-Pacific Operations, bagay ang mga OFW sa BPO dahil sa kanilang karanasan sa abroad sa pagbibigay ng serbisyo at solusyon sa mga kostumer, pati na rin sa pagkakaroon ng basic command sa English language.

 “OFWs are experienced individuals who have been immersed in diverse environments with different employers. Apart from having the basic command of English, OFWs demonstrate adaptability, integrity, and commitment, which are important factors for anyone looking to build a career,” ayon kay Borja.

Nitong Hunyo, nag-alok ng 4,000 trabaho ang Alorica sa bansa dahil sa pandemya.

Bukas ang mga branch ng BPO para sa mga nangangailangan ng trabaho sa Alabang, Cebu, Centris, Clark, Cubao, Davao, Fort Bonifacio, Ilocos Norte, Lipa City, Makati, Marikina, Pasay at Sta. Mesa.

Tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang serbisyo ng BPO sa kanilang operasyon sa gitna ng pag-iral ng community quarantine.
