CAMILLE VILLAR: MRT-7 completion to usher better business environment in North Caloocan; SJDM, Bulacan

Senatorial candidate, Camille Villar, pushed anew for the need to support livelihood and further develop infrastructure during the campaign sortie of the administration party in Central Luzon, which kicked off in the vote-rich San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

Joining the administration senators’ press conference and political rally in San Jose del Monte, Villar said she has always been supportive of measures that would create of more jobs through the development of infrastruture. She also batted for promotion of small businesses.

“Actually, one of the things that I’ve always espoused whether while working in the private sector or in Congress and I hope to continue to espouse are supporting economic growth. And I think dito sa San Jose del Monte, nakikita naman na isa siyang magandang halimbawa ng siyudad na talagang makikita na that is built on support for livelihood or small businesses,” she said.

Villar cited for example how the completion of the construction of MRT-7 would bolster development and bring in new business, which in return, could open up new job opportunities for the people.

“Nakikita naman natin with the MRT-7 na pag napaganda natin ‘yong interconnectivity at pag may imprastruktura nadumarating sa isang bayan ay nagkakaroon ng increase in output productivity and increase sa trabaho and dito rin makikita natin sana magkaroon ng murang pabahay at better homes for all ofthe, sa mga kababayan natin dito sa San Jose (del Monte),” she said.

“So, ito ang isang magandang halimbawa ng development ng siyudad that is purged on economic development so ang gusto natin dito is mas i-prepare ‘yong mga tiga-San Jose del Monte for more jobs, better jobs, better infrastructure and a very good housing program,” Villar said.

The MRT-7 line runs in a northeast–southwest direction, beginning at San Jose del Monte, Bulacan up to the North Triangle Common Station in North Avenue, Quezon City.

Prior to the Alyansa press conference, Villar went around North Caloocan on Friday where she mingled with vendors in Bagong Silang Phase 1 Market and Camarin Market. (DANNY BACOLOD)
