DE LIMA NA-MILD STROKE

Tiniyak ng mga staff ni Sen. Leila De Lima na nasa mabuti na itong kalagayan.

Ito’y matapos pagbigyan ng dalawang korte ang hiling ni Sen. Leila de Lima na tatlong araw na medical furlough para sumalang sa mga pagsusuri matapos sabihin ng doktor nito na nakaranas ang senador ng mild stroke.

Ang desisyon na ito ng Branch 205 at 256 ng Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court ay inilabas matapos maghain ang kampo ni de Lima ng very urgent motion para sa medical furlough noong Miyerkules dahil sa iniinda nitong sakit sa ulo at panghihina.

Sa ginawang pagsusuri ng doktor nito na si Dr. Meophilla Santos-Cao sinabi nito na posibleng nakaranas ang senador ng mild stroke kung kaya’t kinakailangan nitong dumaan pa sa ilang pagsusuri sa labas ng Camp Crame.

Kasalukuyang nakakulong si De Lima sa Philippine National Police Custodial Center dahil sa hinaharap nitong drug-related charges na nag-ugat noong siya pa ang tumatayong Justice secretary sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni dating Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

“Wherefore, premises considered, and finding the very urgent medical furlough to be meritorious, the same is hereby granted for humanitarian and health reasons. Accused De Lima is allowed to go on a three day medical furlough immediately upon the receipt of this order,” saad ni Presiding Judge Liezel Aquiatan ng Branch 205.

“Accused De Lima is hereby given leave of Court to go on an emergency medical furlough […] at the soonest time possible for a period of not more than three days for her requested checkup,” dagdag naman ni Branch 256 Presiding Judge Romeo Buenaventura.
