Suportado ng team owners ang pagkasa ng Philippine Superliga (PSL) Challenge Cup Beach Volleyball. Ang torneo ay papalo sa Nov. 26 hanggang 29 sa Subic.
Ayon kay PSL Chairman Philip Ella Juico, tiwala ang team owners na magiging safe at magiging competitive tournament ang beach volley bubble.
Ang PSL rin ang unang volleyball at amateur league na kakasa ng season restart under new normal. Ito’y matapos bigyan ng go-signal ng IATF ang liga na ikasa ang torneo.
Tumagal din ang paghihintay ng PSL sa loob ng limang buwan. Nagtatag din ang liga ng medical mission sa ilalim ni Dr. Raul Alcantara. Ito rin ang magpapatupad ng health and safety protocols sa pakikipagtulungan ng Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and the IATF.
“We formally presented our program to the team owners last Monday and we got an overwhelming response,” saad Juico, former Philippine Sports Commission chairman, said.
“All of our teams are very supportive and are confident that we could come up with a competitive tourney without risking the health and safety of players, coaches, league officials, media and other stakeholders,” aniya.
